The iris is one of the most intricate and fascinating tissue structures in the human body. The iris has an endless number of structural features as well as an astonishing range of colors that can be used to identify a person’s uniqueness. In fact, just like a fingerprint, no two irises are exactly the same.

Iridology is an alternative health assessment technique that involves examining pictures of the iris to evaluate your general state of health. This analysis can provide information about your status of potential inflammation, vitamin deficiency, high stress levels, digestive issues and even organ dysfunction.

At Eyes to Life, using your iris pictures and our specialized iridology software, we can provide you with an analysis of what some of the characteristics of your eyes may imply about your overall health.

Your iridology assessment is fast and easy, requiring nothing more from you than the photos we take to create our beautiful artwork. Ask one of our team members about it during your visit!

What is Iridology

The study of the patterns of the iris is called Iridology and its documented use dates all the way back to 1665. Modern use of this practice dates to the late 1800’s. Iridologists believe the iris is a complex tissue structure that can provide clues to the body’s internal state, areas of weakness, inflammation, or other imbalances that could be early warning signs of potential health problems.

This holistic practice is based on the belief that the iris reflects the overall health of the body. The iris is divided into multiple zones, each of which represents a different aspect of or organ of the human body. It focuses on four key areas: blood circulation, condition of the nerves and lymph system and level of nutrition. It can identify issues like inflammation, vitamin deficiencies, stress levels, digestive issues and even organ dysfunction.

Iridologists examine the iris for patterns, markings, and colors, which they interpret using charts that divide the iris into segments or zones that map each eye to different parts of the body, to a specific organ, gland, or body systems.

Today iridology is used as a tool to identify early detection of imbalances and to promote holistic health and wellness, encouraging clients to make lifestyle changes and adopt complementary therapies.
